Job summary

Marlowe Environmental Services (Part of Mitie) is seeking a skilled Legionella Risk Assessor to join our team in Salisbury. You will deliver high-quality risk assessments, use digital tools to analyze data, and maintain clear compliance records while advising clients on risk reduction and best practices.

Ideal candidates will hold a City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification, have proven field experience, and possess strong IT literacy with the ability to produce technical drawings

Qualifications

• A City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven experience conducting legionella risk assessments within the water treatment or water hygiene industry.
• Detail oriented compliance professional focused on delivering exceptional service.
• Strong working knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1 and HTM 04-01 frameworks.
• Excellent IT literacy, including experience using digital reporting systems.
• Ability to produce accurate schematic drawings and technical documentation.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Legionella risk assessments to high professional standards.
• Use digital tools to capture, analyse, and report data efficiently.
• Produce schematic drawings and maintain accurate compliance records.
• Provide clear, practical recommendations to support compliance and risk reduction.
• Build relationships with clients through expert service.
• Support operational delivery to meet contractual and compliance commitments.
• Adhere to ACOP L8 (4th Edition), HSG274, HSG282, HTM 04-01 guidance.
