Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd are currently assisting a well-established water hygiene specialist in Milton Keynes to appoint an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor. You will carry out Legionella risk assessments across commercial and residential sites, in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274, and manage your own workload.

The role offers a competitive salary of £34,000–£40,000, a company van with fuel card, 20 days leave plus bank holidays, and fully funded training and development.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience carrying out Legionella risk assessments.
• Strong knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274.
• Comfortable working across hot and cold water systems.
• Well organized and able to manage your own patch.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Legionella risk assessments across commercial and residential sites in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274.
• Surveying hot and cold water systems and recommending fixes for risks identified.
• Writing up clear, professional reports, including schematic drawings where needed.
• Managing your own workload and diary, liaising directly with clients on-site.
• Occasional water hygiene tasks such as temperature checks, sampling, and tank inspections.
