Job summary

Legionella Risk Assessor role within Celnor Group, part of the Safety & Compliance division, is based in Wokingham. You will conduct Legionella risk assessments across commercial and industrial sites in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274, reporting to Mark Viner.

The position involves surveying water systems, producing detailed reports, and managing a mobile workload while maintaining professional client communication.

Qualifications

• Experience completing Legionella risk assessments.
• Strong knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274.
• Experience with hot and cold water systems.
• Ability to produce professional and technically accurate reports.
• Experience in water hygiene monitoring or servicing.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good organisation and time-management.
• Confident working independently with a mobile workload.
• Proficient IT skills and electronic reporting systems.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Complete Legionella risk assessments across commercial and residential properties in line with ACOP L8, HSG274 and relevant guidance.
• Survey hot and cold water systems, identify risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Produce clear, accurate and detailed risk assessment reports, including updating schematic drawings where required.
• Manage your own diary and workload while maintaining professional communication with clients and site contacts.
• Complete occasional water hygiene service work, including temperature monitoring, sampling, flushing, tank inspections and showerhead cleaning.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
