Job summary

Celnor is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor in Swindon to conduct compliant risk assessments across commercial and industrial sites in line with ACOP L8, HSG274, and company standards. You will work independently with the Water Hygiene Team to assess, document, and report on systems to help clients manage and reduce Legionella risk.

Responsibilities include surveying water systems, producing detailed risk assessment reports, updating drawings, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Experience completing Legionella risk assessments.
• Knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274.
• Experience with hot and cold water systems.
• Ability to produce professional risk assessment reports.
• Experience in water hygiene monitoring/servicing.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good organisation and time-management.
• Confident working independently with a mobile workload.
• Good IT skills and use of electronic reporting systems.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Complete Legionella risk assessments across commercial and residential properties in line with ACOP L8, HSG274 and guidance.
• Survey hot and cold water systems, identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Produce clear, accurate risk assessment reports and update drawings as needed.
• Manage your diary and workload while maintaining client communication.
• Complete occasional water hygiene service work such as temperature monitoring, sampling and flushing.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and ensure safety and company procedures.
