Job summary

Marlowe Environmental Services, part of Mitie, is hiring a Legionella Risk Assessor to deliver high-quality risk assessments across varied environments from their Salisbury team. You will use digital tools to capture and report data, produce schematic drawings, and provide actionable recommendations to assure compliance and risk reduction.

The role requires City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment and solid ACOP L8/HSG/HTM knowledge, with a full UK driving licence and strong IT and documentation

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven experience conducting legionella risk assessments in water hygiene.
• Strong knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1 and HTM 04-01.
• Excellent IT literacy and ability to produce technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality Legionella risk assessments to high professional standards.
• Use digital tools to capture, analyse, and report data efficiently.
• Produce schematic drawings and maintain accurate compliance records.
• Provide clear recommendations to support compliance and risk reduction.
• Build relationships with clients through expert service.
• Support delivery to ensure contractual and compliance commitments are met.
• Conduct assessments following ACOP L8 (4th Edition), HSG274, HSG282, HTM 04-01.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability and operational excellence.
