Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor/Consultant to join our client in the Woking area. You will conduct risk assessments and provide expert advice to clients in line with ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.

The role covers domestic water systems across various sectors including education, healthcare and industrial premises. You will prepare detailed reports, train new risk assessors, and travel as required to client sites within the South East of England.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as Legionella Risk Assessor/Consultant.
• Qualified with City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing.
• Knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG 274 and HTM 0401.
• Flexible with travel requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor / Consultant
• Must be qualified with the City and Guilde (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
• Robust industry technical knowledge, including: ACOP L8, HSG 274 and HTM 0401
• Flexible with regards to travel requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT competencies

The Role:

• Conducting comprehensive legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
• Working across a range of commercial, industrial, education and healthcare premises
• Collating findings to produce detailed technical reports and schematic drawings
• Providing bespoke advice to clients on required remedial actions
• Being a key point of contact for clients
• Fostering strong professional relationships with clients
• Training new risk assessors
• Maintaining own personal technical knowledge
• Travelling as per company needs
