Job summary

Future Select is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor to join our team in Yorkshire. You will conduct risk assessments on cooling towers, process water and domestic systems, and create site-specific schematic drawings.

You will meet with clients to provide technical guidance and work to deadlines while adhering to HSE guidelines. The role requires City & Guilds in Legionella Risk Assessing, strong IT and writing skills, and the ability to liaise confidently with clients across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in water treatment/hygiene.
• Must hold City & Guilds or equivalent in Legionella Risk Assessing.
• Experience with cooling towers or process water risk assessments is preferred.
• Proficient IT and writing ability.
• Confident liaising with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of commercial/industrial water systems and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Create site-specific schematic drawings.
• Meet with clients to provide technical advice and answer queries.
• Work to deadlines and targets.
• Adhere to HSE guidelines.
• Monthly temperature testing and water sampling.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Extensive experience working in this role within the water treatment/water hygiene industry
• Must have the City & Guilds or equivalent in Legionella Risk Assessing
• Ideally have experience carrying out risk assessments on cooling tower/process water systems
• Proficient IT and writing ability
• Confident and professional liaising with clients
• Good working knowledge of commercial and industrial water systems, supplies and water regulations governing these

The Role:

• Adhering to HSE guidelines

• Undertaking Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments
