Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is partnering with a national water hygiene group to recruit an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor for Bolton and the North West. You will perform risk assessments on commercial and public sector premises, producing detailed reports and schematics to support compliance and safety.

The role requires proven Legionella Risk Assessing experience, City & Guilds (WMSoc), and strong IT skills. Some field travel and training opportunities are provided by the employer.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Legionella Risk Assessor.
• Experience in a well‑established water hygiene/outfit.
• City and Guilds (WMSoc) Legionella Risk Assessing qualification.
• Solid knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
• Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out legionella risk assessments on domestic water systems.
• Identify remedial works and compliance risks.
• Produce detailed technical reports and schematic drawings.
• Perform ad-hoc water sampling and temperature monitoring.
• Showerhead descalings and TMV servicing.
• Provide updates and technical advice to clients.
• Travel to client sites as required.

A national player within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry is seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join their team. You will be covering commercial and public sector premises along the M62 corridor and into the North West of England. Applicants must hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing, and will ideally hold some hands-on engineering experience (i.e. water hygiene and / or plumbing).
