An established industry player is seeking a Legal Support Group Manager to lead their Litigation and Investigations team. In this pivotal role, you will provide management support to the Legal Support Unit, overseeing a team that handles legal processes and collaborates with various departments. You will be responsible for monitoring internal controls, preparing productivity reports, and liaising with internal and external counsel. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape legal operations within a dynamic environment, ensuring compliance and efficiency while fostering team growth and collaboration.
Reporting to a senior member of Citi’s Litigation and Investigations team, the Legal Support Group Manager provides management support to the Litigation and Investigations’ Legal Support Unit ("LSU"), which is comprised of the Legal Services Intake ("LSI") unit handling the intake of legal processes (including court orders, subpoenas, and other legal pleadings) directed to Citi legal entities in the United States. The LSU also includes the Restraining Orders team, the Cards and Mortgages Subpoenas team, and the Retail Bank Subpoenas team, with members located in Sioux Falls, SD, and San Antonio. The Legal Support Group Manager directly supervises and guides a team of experienced "leads" who execute tasks and workflows supporting these units.
