Job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Legal Secretary to join my clients' team in their Andover office.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist Fee Earners in managing case-loads by handling file-related queries face-to-face or by telephone.
  2. Ensure clients are dealt with efficiently and politely, raising appropriate legal matters.
  3. Assist in general office administration and locating files when necessary.
  4. Undertake photocopying when required.
  5. Answer external and internal calls efficiently and politely, taking messages as needed.
  6. Manage own and Fee Earner diaries.
Experience & Skills:
  1. Assistant, secretarial, or administrative experience, preferably in this area of law.
  2. Fast, accurate typing skills using digital audio systems.
  3. Experience with case management systems.
  4. Ability to take initiative and work independently when necessary.
  5. Excellent IT knowledge.
  6. Willingness to learn new skills and meet departmental challenges.
  7. Good communication skills.
