Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd in Cardiff is expanding its Legal recruitment team, seeking a Recruitment Consultant to manage a 360 desk from BD to placement.

You will develop relationships with law firms and in-house teams, build a personal market within Legal, and drive new business while delivering high-quality candidates and service.

Qualifications

• Recruitment experience or strong background in sales, account management or the legal sector.
• Confident speaking with senior professionals and decision-makers.

We're growing the Legal team at Yolk and looking for someone who wants more than just another recruitment job.

This is an opportunity to join an established Legal recruitment team with a strong reputation across Wales, Bristol and the South West, as well as a growing national in-house offering.

We've built long-standing relationships with law firms ranging from high-street practices through to Legal 500 and national firms, recruiting legal professionals at every level from Paralegal and Legal Assistant through to Solicitor, Associate, Partner and Head of Legal.

You'll have the platform of an established brand and client base, but the freedom to develop relationships, grow your own market and build a desk that genuinely feels like your own.

Whether you're already an experienced Legal recruiter, come from another professional recruitment market, or have built a successful career in sales, account management or business development, we're open-minded.

Equally, if you currently work within the legal sector and think your market knowledge, relationships and commercial skills could translate into recruitment, we'd be interested in having a conversation.

What you'll be doing

• Running a 360 recruitment desk from business development through to placement

• Commercial awareness and an understanding of what drives results
• Confidence speaking with senior professionals and decision-makers
• Someone comfortable picking up the phone and starting conversations
• Self-motivated and capable of taking ownership of their own market
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Legal recruitment experience would be a real advantage, but it's by no means essential.
