Job description

An opportunity for an experienced Solicitor to join a non-departmental public body (NDPB) which funds projects and activities that transform communities. This is a 12-month fixed term maternity cover contract, for the role of Legal Manager (Head of Agreements, Information and Disputes).

Role Overview

As Head of Agreements, Information and Disputes, you will report to the Head of Legal Services and oversee a team of 5 individuals. Your responsibilities include overseeing compliance processes, legal policies, legal projects, procurement, and risk strategies. You will focus on legal projects with higher value, risk, and complexity, and build relationships with leaders across the organization and external stakeholders including the Government and other NDPBs.

Candidate Requirements
  1. You must be a UK qualified solicitor, barrister, or equivalent with at least seven years of relevant experience.
  2. Experience managing change in a dynamic environment.
  3. Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  4. Experience working for a similar public body or within the public sector is highly desirable.

Salary Range

National: £48,246 - £60,308; London: £53,255 - £66,569 (dependent on experience).
