Legal IT Project Manager - London - Legal applications

A leading law firm in central London is seeking a Legal IT Project Manager with experience in legal software project management and a proven track record of delivering legal software projects such as iManage, Elite 3E, SOS Connect, Visualfiles, Proclaim, ShareDO, Peppermint Aderant, or similar DMS, PMS, or CMS platforms.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to participate in a significant software upgrade program across nearly the entire software suite, including a new Practice Management System (PMS), Document Management System, and Case Management System. Experience in implementing cloud-based legal or finance application software or upgrading legacy systems is essential.

Required Experience:

• Proven experience in delivering medium to high complexity IT projects within Legal Applications & Cloud Services, including Practice Management Systems, Document Management Systems, or Case Management Systems.
• Background as an IT Project Manager or Senior Business Analyst, preferably within a law firm or professional services firm.
• Strong ability to learn new software applications quickly and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with legal applications like iManage, Elite 3E, SOS Connect, Visualfiles, Proclaim, ShareDO, Peppermint Aderant, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Experience working within the legal industry is advantageous.

The Role:

• Manage the delivery of medium to high complexity IT projects across Applications and Cloud Services, covering all lifecycle stages.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into functional software solutions.
• Coordinate with third-party IT providers to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Drive the implementation and adoption of software solutions, ensuring seamless integration into existing workflows.
• Provide regular updates on project status, timelines, and resource management.
