  • Location: Yeovil Office (occasional travel to Bridgwater and Taunton)
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Salary: GBP 25,000 – GBP 30,000
About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant / Legal Secretary to join our client's Dispute Resolution team in Yeovil. This role offers a great opportunity for a highly organized and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.

As support to the Head of Dispute Resolution, you will assist the wider team with administrative tasks, ensuring smooth department operations and delivering excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing administrative and secretarial support, including audio typing (dictation)
  • Managing correspondence, legal documents, and case files
  • Handling client communications professionally and discreetly
  • Organizing meetings and managing diaries for the team
  • Assisting with general office duties as required
  • Traveling to other offices (Bridgwater and Taunton) when necessary
Ideal Candidate
  • Experience in a legal administrative or secretarial role, preferably within a dispute resolution team
  • Excellent typing skills, including audio dictation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Attention to detail and proactive work approach
  • A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are advantageous
