Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a mid-level qualified lawyer to make a real difference at Kraft Heinz. The position of Legal Counsel, UKI and Nordics reports directly to the General Counsel, Northern Europe.

The role involves providing commercial and pragmatic legal advice to the Kraft Heinz UKI factories and Marketing teams, as well as supporting the Kraft Heinz Nordics business. It sits within the wider Europe & Pacific Developed Markets (EPDM) Zone Legal Team and may support on EPDM Zone projects.

What You’ll Do

The Legal Counsel, UKI will be a key business partner in the Kraft Heinz UKI Business Unit and will cover areas including:

• General commercial contracts
• IP & brand portfolio law
• Competition law
• Company law
• Data protection
• Consumer, media and advertising
• Regulatory/Compliance
• Corporate Housekeeping/Company secretarial support

What You’ll Need

• UK qualified with at least 4+ years of post-qualification experience as a commercial lawyer (experience in Contract drafting, IP, Consumer and Regulatory law, Advertising, Claims development & ASA disputes desirable)
• Legal education and training in a leading law firm and/or company
• FMCG experience, especially in Food and Drinks sector, preferred
• Strong legal judgment with the ability to make decisions aligned with business objectives and risk management
• Research, drafting skills, and effective communication with non-legal audiences
