Job Purpose:
You will join the Legal Services team, a division within GBS (the in-house services arm of DHL). As part of the team, you will be responsible for advising the business on its portfolio of freehold and leased properties and all Landlord and Tenant related matters (e.g., purchases and disposals, leases, sub-leases, variations and licences, sale and leasebacks, and site developments within the region). Your role will involve liaising greatly with surveyors within the Corporate Real Estate (CRE) team, other property-related stakeholders, and managing external counsel. Travel will be necessary when required to meet the business needs.
Business is contract-driven; hence the need to communicate with the business and negotiate with customers alongside the business. You will form an important link between CRE and Legal in managing transactions that involve property matters.
