Roche in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support the General Counsel and provide robust legal advice across UK/IE commercial pharmaceutical matters. You will manage data privacy operations and liaise with multiple stakeholders to protect Roche’s legal and commercial interests.

The role requires PQE 2-6 years, with strong UK GDPR knowledge and experience in the life sciences sector.

Qualifications

You are a qualified lawyer in England and Wales.
Post Qualification: 2-6 years PQE.
Strong practical knowledge of UK data protection laws (UK GDPR) and UK commercial pharmaceutical law.
Experience in life sciences or pharmaceutical industry with understanding of UK/Irish legal frameworks.

Responsabilités

Data Protection Operations: act as primary responsible person for operational data privacy matters across the affiliate.
Provide comprehensive UK/IRL legal support on commercial pharmaceutical matters and related regulations.
Ensure ethical compliance with Roche Group Code of Conduct by employees and agencies.
Provide proactive legal counsel to R&D teams on clinical trial regulations and CTAs.
Identify and mitigate legal risks in business processes and contracts.
Maintain and update legal tools, templates, and agreements to reflect changes in law.
