Legal Counsel – Markets - Senior Vice President

London (Hybrid working)

Are you a qualified lawyer with significant experience relating to Regulation, markets, liquidity, or a mix of commercial contracts and markets regulation? Do you work for a highly regarded law firm in this arena? Your new role would be a challenging permanent opening as Legal Counsel - SVP based in London (The City).

The role will involve negotiations of client contracts, focusing primarily on Markets, Liquidity, Margin, and Collateral.

To qualify for this excellent opportunity, you should have between 3-8 years PQE from a well-regarded law school and law firm or financial institution. Other requirements include:

• Legal Degree, with experience in negotiating client contracts and regulatory knowledge.
• Ability to quickly analyze problems and devise appropriate solutions;
• Knowledge of regulatory guidance on outsourcing and third-party relationships;
• Knowledge of regulations such as CASS, MIFID, ESG, AIFMD, PSD2.
