Job Title: Lawyer - OGC Commercial Team

Location: London, Reading, or other KPMG UK office locations (20 offices nationwide)

The KPMG OGC Commercial team plays a vital role in supporting our UK business. Part of KPMG Business Services (KBS), we engage in impactful work.

We seek a lawyer with at least 2 years PQE to join our busy OGC Commercial team at the manager level. The team reviews and negotiates various documents between KPMG and clients or third parties.

The work often involves tight deadlines and clients with legal and procurement teams aiming for advantageous positions. Strong drafting, negotiating skills, pragmatism, and effective task management are essential. Interaction with stakeholders such as data protection, information security, pursuits, and Risk is also important.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of matters, including approval processes for new services and products
• Assist with general commercial queries
• Draft software licenses
• Support deal teams and provide contract support for engagement teams
• Negotiate and draft framework and master services agreements alongside client lead partners and specialists

Minimum Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with at least 2 years PQE
• Strong drafting and negotiating skills
• Pragmatism, good judgment, and effective time management
• Experience in a professional services environment is advantageous
• Ability to manage workload while adhering to KPMG’s training and administrative standards
