Locum Lead Lawyer - Commercial/Corporate

Venn Group’s specialist legal team is seeking an experienced Locum Lead Lawyer to join a well-regarded Local Authority on a locum basis.

Role Details:

• Position: Locum Lead Lawyer - Commercial/Corporate
• Duration: Initial 3 months, with potential extension
• Location: Hybrid (1-2 days per week in the office)
• Hours: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing strategic legal guidance on commercial matters
• Negotiating and drafting high-level commercial agreements
• Collaborating with senior stakeholders within the council and external partners
• Managing colleagues and junior staff

Candidate Profile:

• Managerial experience
