A leading energy and infrastructure services business is looking for a Legal Counsel to provide commercial legal advice and support on construction projects. The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor or barrister with experience in contract negotiation and an understanding of UK construction law. This role offers a dynamic environment where collaboration with various teams is key.
This is a Legal Counsel opportunity, centred around in-house construction work, with a large and well-known energy and infrastructure services business.

Description
You will work closely with business teams especially business development, commercial and senior management and externally with counterparty legal advisers, external legal advisers, contract counterparties and customers.
You will be required to provide timely, high quality, practical and commercially focused legal advice, balancing legal risk with the commercial needs of the business and will be responsible for:
Profile
The successful candidate will be a UK (or common law equivalent) qualified solicitor or barrister.
Based on the team structure, work on offer and remuneration for this position they will be like to have between 3 to 6 years of post-qualification experience. There will be flexibility on this point depending on the quality of experience of a specific candidate.
Experience in both private practice and in-house roles preferred but not essential
