Oliver James is seeking a confident employment lawyer to join its centralised Group Legal Team in Manchester on a fixed term contract (maternity cover) for up to 12 months. The role supports the Employment Law Service across the global business.

You will advise senior stakeholders on internal workforce matters, refine templates and contracts, and monitor regulatory changes to guide the business.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with up to c.5 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in employment law.

• Developing and refining templates, policies, contractual documents, and guidance materials.
• Identifying and escalating legal risks in line with Group frameworks.

• Supporting the preparation and negotiation of client commercial contracts where needed.
