Job summary

Taylor Root is seeking a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join its London-based team for a 9-month maternity cover. The role supports international markets through live events, digital platforms, and knowledge-led services, acting as a trusted business partner for internal stakeholders.

Key duties include drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements, maintaining templates, advising on IP and data privacy, and managing risk in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with approximately 2/3+ years’ PQE and in-house commercial law experience.
• Knowledge of data privacy and emerging technologies (AI) is beneficial.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements (supplier, IT, sponsorship, collaboration).
• Ability to translate legal advice into commercial guidance.
