Job summary

Games Workshop Group PLC is seeking a qualified solicitor to provide robust legal support, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts across the UK and internationally, and offering pragmatic advice to safeguard our interests.

You will work closely with teams, build relationships, and explain complex legal ideas in plain English to help the business move forward in a changing environment. The role is hybrid, based at our Nottingham HQ.

Qualifications

Job description

Games Workshop is recruiting a qualified solicitor with the passion and drive to provide outstanding legal support and pragmatic advice that safeguards our interests.

This is a varied role where you’ll work closely with teams across the business, leading and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts both in the UK and internationally. We’re looking for someone confident working independently, as you’ll be a trusted partner to teams across Games Workshop, building strong relationships and offering clear, practical legal support that helps us move forward without unnecessary obstacles.

You’ll use your skills in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, as well as advising on higher-risk areas such as consumer law, sale of goods, and competition law. Just as important, you’ll be approachable and down-to-earth, able to explain complex legal ideas in plain English and adapt your style to suit whoever you’re working with. In doing so, you’ll be supporting the business to make confident, well-informed decisions.

To be successful in this role, you will have strong commercial experience coupled with the pragmatism to reduce risk, operate at pace, and shift gears quickly within the context of a changing business environment.

Other Essential Information
