AmTrust International is seeking a Legal Counsel in London to draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial and insurance-related contracts, while providing regulatory guidance to our insured entities.

You will work with high-profile clients and help navigate the UK general insurance framework, ensuring compliance and supporting strategic business initiatives and client relationships. A strong background in insurance law and a proactive, collaborative approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with strong UK general insurance experience.
• Proven ability to draft, review and negotiate insurance-related agreements.
• Understanding of the legal and regulatory framework governing insurance businesses.

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our London office. In this role, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial and insurance-related contracts, while providing regulatory advice to our regulated insurance entities. You will work closely with a portfolio of high-profile clients, including globally recognised household brands, advising on insurance products, distribution models and a broad range of legal and regulatory matters.
To be successful in this position, you will be a qualified lawyer with strong experience within the UK general insurance market. You will have a proven ability to draft, review and negotiate insurance-related agreements, combined with a sound understanding of the legal and regulatory framework governing insurance businesses.
