METLEN Energy & Metals is seeking a Legal Counsel to support EPC activities across the UK and Ireland, reporting to the London-based Legal team. You will provide commercially focused legal advice through tendering, procurement, project delivery and operations.
You will draft, review and negotiate EPC, O&M and subcontract agreements, support project teams in contract administration, and identify risks while ensuring governance and budget adherence.

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to support our EPC activities across the UK and Ireland, reporting into the London-based Legal team. This role will provide high-quality, commercially focused legal advice across the full project lifecycle, from tendering and procurement through to project delivery and operations.
Provide high-quality, responsive legal advice to support businessobjectivesand project needs across the UK and Ireland.
Draft, review, negotiate andfinalizeEPC, O&M,subcontractand supply agreements throughout the project lifecycle.
Support project teams in the administration and management of EPC and O&M contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations by all parties.
Providelegal guidance across the EPC and O&M contract chain,identifyingand mitigating contractual and commercial risks.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Legal Team processes, procedures and best practices while ensuring adherence toestablishedsystems and governance requirements.
Liaise with external legal advisors to obtain fee quotations, manage legalspendand ensuretimelydelivery of legal support while effectively prioritizing workloads and meeting business deadlines.
Qualified lawyer in England & Wales with a validpracticingcertificate;Dual qualification in another European country would be an advantage
3 years' PQE relevant experience in the EPC energy sector in UK
Experience in EPC contractsthroughout the contract chain including tenders, procurement, EPC and O&M contracts,supplyand subcontracting
Experience inenergy/infrastructure projects
Knowledge of FIDIC and/or NEC4 contracts
Strong commercial awareness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience both in private practice and in-house will be consideredan advantage
