Job summary

An innovative global travel company is seeking a dynamic Legal Counsel for a 12-month fixed term contract. Legal Counsel (EMEA) – 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

My client is at the epicentre of global technology, travel and lifestyle. They’ve instructed me to recruit a dynamic Legal Counsel for a 12-month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Legal Director, EMEA, this role is an excellent opportunity for an NQ-qualified solicitor who is looking to launch their legal career, return post-maternity, or explore fresh opportunities later in their career.

The role:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, particularly with travel product suppliers such as airlines and hotels.

• Provide proactive legal advice on projects and day-to-day operations.

• Ensure compliance with data protection, consumer protection, marketing, and travel regulations.

• Collaborate with multiple business functions (HR, Finance, Marketing, etc.) and deliver training and guidance on key legal topics.

• Assist in handling legal disputes and resolving customer complaints.

What You’ll Need:

• Qualified solicitor registered with the SRA or Law Society of Scotland (NQ).

• Strong knowledge of B2B/B2C legal matters and data protection laws.

• Proactive, commercially minded problem solver with excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Fluency in English; experience in the travel industry is an advantage.
