Legal & Compliance Assistant

We’re looking for a bright, motivated Legal & Compliance Assistant to join our team in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for a law graduate (ideally with some exposure to finance) who’s eager to build a career in a fast-paced, international investment environment.

You’ll work closely with senior team members to support legal and compliance operations across multiple jurisdictions — including the UK, Ireland, and South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) for opening new stockbroking accounts/platforms
• Reviewing RFPs (Requests for Proposals) from investors
• Supporting compliance with UK and South African fund marketing regulations
• Responding to general client and prospect queries
• Assisting with regulatory research and project work, such as understanding marketing rules in new jurisdictions

Qualifications

• Legal education or training (law degree preferred); finance knowledge is a plus
• Smart, diligent, and detail-oriented
• A great attitude and strong willingness to learn
• Comfortable working within evolving regulatory frameworks
• Flexible, open-minded, and proactive in approach
