What You Will Be Doing

You will act as a trusted liaison between fee earners and clients, facilitating smooth communication and efficient outcomes. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Being the key point of contact for the Private Client team
  2. Assisting fee earners with progressing client files, communicating with clients and professionals
  3. Handling initial client inquiries, arranging meetings, and providing updates
  4. Conducting land registry, bankruptcy, and lawyer check searches
  5. Communicating with professional bodies, banks, HMRC, and other entities
  6. Managing invoice payments and cheque preparations
  7. Drafting correspondence related to trust matters and payments
  8. Setting up beneficiary payments
  9. Preparing Wills, Codicils, LPAs, and ancillary documents
  10. Basic account reconciliation in Excel
  11. Drafting client contracts and initial probate letters
  12. Preparing information for client meetings
  13. Managing files and updating case management systems
  14. Handling post and diary management
  15. Recording payments and claims
  16. Engrossing legal documents
  17. Liaising with team members to ensure progress
  18. Supporting remote and in-person office activities
What You Will Need
  • A graduate passionate about working with a Private Client team
  • Experience in office administration within legal or professional services (preferred but not essential)
  • Organized and methodical approach
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Enthusiastic and willing to go the extra mile
  • Open to new working methods and continuous improvement
