Job summary

ESSENTIAL EMPLOYMENT LTD is seeking a Legal Advisor for a hybrid role based in Exeter, paying £26.41 per hour PAYE. This is a full-time temporary contract with two days per week in the office (one day on a Tuesday at the HQ).

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal services to Chief Constables, officers and staff, and will work within the Litigation, Operations or Vulnerability teams as needed.

• Operate within the three teams (Litigation, Operations and Vulnerability) and undertake work in other areas as needed by business requirements.

Legal Advisor (Hybrid) needed in Exeter, £26.41ph PAYE - Reference: 373714

2 days per week in the office (one to be a Tues in HQ).

• The principal responsibility of the Legal Advisor is to provide a comprehensive legal service to the Chief Constables, their officers and staff.
• Legal Advisors report to Senior Legal Advisors within the Legal Services Department and provide tactical and strategic advice on a wide and varied range of legal issues.
• Legal Advisors operate within the three teams that exist within the Legal Services Department; Litigation, Operations and Vulnerability. The skillset required within each area is commensurate with the level of work across the entire remit of the role.
• Each Legal Advisor will primarily work within one of the three teams but will be required to undertake work in the other areas when necessary, according to business need.

This is a full time role on a Temporary Contract basis
