Carpenters Group seeks a Complex Recoveries Legal Advisor to manage a full caseload of high‑value litigated RTA recovery cases, delivering quality claims handling and maximising recoveries within timescales. The role requires effective client communication and a practical approach to settlements.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a full caseload of litigated RTA recovery or ULR claims.
• Knowledge of liability issues, including the Road Traffic Act and Article 75.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Demonstrable background in customer or stakeholder‑focused environments - with a strong focus on delivering quality service to clients and the wider firm.
• Competence using case management systems and MS Office.
• High attention to detail, organisation, and commitment to quality service.

• Manage a full caseload of high‑value litigated recovery files using the firm’s case management system
• Ensure accurate and timely updates on the case management system
• Progress cases efficiently using appropriate communication methods
• Provide professional, timely legal advice to clients with regular communication and expectation management
• Take a commercial and practical approach to settlement negotiations and risk advice
• Support team performance against recovery and lifecycle targets without compromising integrity
• Liaise with sources, experts, third‑party insurers, and other stakeholders

• Manage a full caseload of high‑value litigated recovery files using the firm’s case management system
