Job description

Omega Subsea UK is currently looking for a Legal Advisor to provide legal and contractual support on a wide variety of issues in an international context while working closely with management. This role is full-time and based in our Westhill office in Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead / support the negotiation of operational contracts for Omega Subsea services.
• Perform risk assessment and review of tenders and related documents received from clients for our services.
• Responsible for ensuring that the Company operate within the legal framework/legal law.
• Take an active role in ensuring legal compliance within the company and adherence to our Code of Conduct.
• Provide legal advice/legal assistance to the management and project teams.

Education:

• Excellent English speaking, drafting, and writing skills
• Degree in Law from a common law jurisdiction (JD or LLB)
• English or Scottish qualification is an asset

Experience:

• Solid experience in a legal supporting role (preferably in the oil and gas industry)
• International experience
• Strong commercial background
