About the Role:
We are looking for a meticulous and efficient Legal Admin Assistant to join our conveyancing team. The successful candidate will provide vital administrative support to our conveyancers, ensuring the smooth progression of property transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Document Preparation: Assist in preparing and managing conveyancing documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documents.
• Client Communication: Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence with clients, estate agents, and other legal entities.
• File Management: Organize, maintain, and retrieve client files and conveyancing records.
• Data Entry: Input and update client information and transaction details in the database.
• Research: Conduct property searches and gather relevant information for conveyancers.
• Billing: Assist with invoicing related to conveyancing transactions.
• Support: Provide general administrative support, including photocopying, scanning, and filing.
About You
• Experience in an administrative or similar role, ideally within a conveyancing/legal/property environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must.
• A positive, solution-focused attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
