Base pay range

Do you have strong administrative skills and want to make a real difference?

At Guide Dogs, we believe that every person with sight loss should be able to live the life they choose. As a Legacy Case Administrator, you will play a crucial role in helping us make that a reality by ensuring the smooth and accurate administration of legacies. Your skills will contribute to one of our most significant income sources, enabling us to continue providing life-changing services.

You’ll manage estates left by supporters, handle a caseload of legacies with professionalism and empathy, especially when engaging with bereaved families and next of kin. Your attention to detail will ensure all correspondence and legacy receipts are accurately recorded and efficiently tracked using legacy case management software. You’ll also support case handlers by allocating new cases in line with policy and manage the Legacy Case Team inbox. Staying updated with probate, legislation, and best practices will help the team’s ongoing success.

We offer a range of person-centred benefits, including flexible benefits, discounts and cashback schemes, generous holiday allowance, and a matched contributory pension scheme to support our staff.

This role is based at our Reading Hub in Burghfield, working closely with the Legacy Team. The position is full-time, 35 hours per week, from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
