Manpower is seeking a Technical Production Operative for a Leeds (LS14) site. You will operate machinery safely, follow SOPs, and contribute to continuous improvement while working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

The role requires flexibility across a 12-hour shift pattern (days and nights) with a pay band starting at £13.45–£14.60, rising to £17.88 after 12 weeks. Training plans are being considered and include day or crew-based schedules.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate machinery following SOPs and instructions, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct routine changeovers, start-up, and shutdown procedures, aiming for continuous improvement using SMED techniques.
• Manage materials in line with the production plan to meet weekly demands.
• Perform daily checks, adjustments, and defect tagging as part of the R2S process.
• Support problem-solving, root cause analysis, and participate in pit stops, pre-briefs, and de-briefs.
• Monitor quality standards, report issues, and assist in investigations using Q-EWO.
• Follow environmental protocols to minimise waste and handle hazardous materials correctly.
• Communicate effectively across shifts, providing clear reports and operational insights.
