Job summary

Unknown Leeds-based engineering consultancy is seeking a permanent Structural Engineer to join its Building Structures team in Leeds. The role involves assessing and inspecting properties across steel, concrete, masonry and timber, and producing technical reports such as dilapidation surveys and due diligence documents.

Design and analysis work use various software packages, with projects nationwide in the UK.

Qualifications

• Masters or degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Consultancy experience in structural engineering with UK projects preferred.
• Strong report-writing ability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural assessment and inspection of new and existing properties.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports including dilapidation surveys and due‑diligence surveys.
• Undertake analysis and design using software such as CSC Fastrak and TEDDS.
