Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting a permanent Structural Design Engineer for a central Leeds engineering consultancy. You will work on a variety of UK projects across commercial, retail, residential and industrial sectors, delivering robust design solutions.

You will assess and inspect structures in steel, concrete, masonry and timber; prepare technical reports; and use CSC Fastrak and TEDDS to support designs. You’ll lead the design team to meet client objectives and contribute to refurbishment and

Qualifications

• Masters or degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Consultancy experience as a structural engineer on UK projects.
• Experience with structural analysis/design software.

Responsibilities

• Assess and inspect structural properties in steel, concrete, masonry and timber.
• Prepare technical reports including dilapidation and due diligence surveys.
• Perform analysis and design using CSC Fastrak and TEDDS.
• Ensure quality and consistency of drawings and reports.
• Lead design team members to meet client objectives.
• Work on refurbishment and extension projects.
