Job summary

W Talent is recruiting a Health, Safety & Transport Compliance Supervisor for our Leeds team. You will own H&S processes, risk assessments, and ensure HGV operator licence and vehicle compliance records are kept up to date.

You will work with the Head of Operations and Transport Manager to drive safety culture, monitor compliance deadlines, and produce reports for senior management. The role is based in Leeds with 40-hour weeks and early or night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in Health & Safety, transport compliance or logistics compliance.
• Knowledge of HGV Operator Licence requirements.
• Experience maintaining driver and vehicle compliance records.
• Understanding of risk assessments and regulatory requirements.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct, review and maintain risk assessments and documentation.
• Maintain Health & Safety records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage HGV Operator Licence compliance, including driver and vehicle records.
• Monitor driver licence checks, vehicle inspections, servicing and maintenance docs.
• Track compliance deadlines and ensure timely reviews.
• Identify risks, investigate compliance issues and support corrective actions.
• Produce compliance reports for senior operations management.
• Collaborate with operations teams to promote safety culture and continuous improvement.
