Parkinson Gray Associates, a national Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Contractor, is recruiting an Electrical Project Engineer for its Leeds operation. You will support delivery of electrical building services projects, reviewing drawings and coordinating with other trades.

Working with experienced Project Managers, you will manage technical queries, ensure compliance with regulations, and assist with testing, commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

• Background in electrical building services engineering.
• Experience with an M&E contractor on commercial construction projects.
• Good understanding of electrical installations, drawings and specs.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with project teams, consultants and subcontractors.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ideally relevant electrical qualifications (HNC/HND or degree).

Responsabilités

• Review electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Coordinate electrical services with other building services disciplines.
• Support procurement of materials, equipment and subcontract packages.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and site management teams.
• Assist with project programming and progress against schedules.
• Manage technical queries and resolve engineering issues during construction.
• Ensure installations comply with specifications, regulations and quality standards.
• Support testing, commissioning and project handover activities.
