Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions is seeking a Service Engineer for the Leeds area to install, maintain and repair a portfolio of access control, CCTV, and fire safety products. You will represent the company on-site, performing testing, commissioning and customer-facing activities.

The role requires experience with access control or CCTV, a valid CSCS/ECS card, and a clean driving license. You will work with the Stores Team to manage van stock and ensure safety and quality standards on every site

Qualifications

Access Control, CCTV, or fire and security knowledge is mandatory.
Green CSCS OR ECS card and valid driver’s license.
Good understanding of electrical wiring, networking and routing is a plus.
IPAF, PASMA and 3-day first aid are nice to have.
Experience engaging with customers in a pressured environment is preferable.

Responsibilities

Attend, complete and commission installation visits with functional testing and sign-off with Technical Support.
Install, maintain and repair access control, wireless fire alarms, CCTV, and network cabling.
Manage van stock, monitor inventory and order replacements with Stores Team.
Maintain exemplary on-site standards and build rapport with customers.
Adhere to Health & Safety and Environmental regulations on site.
Fully adhere to Health & Safety and Environmental regulations during installation and site activities.
