Job summary

Residential Living Recruitment is seeking an ambitious Assistant General Manager to lead a premium residential community in Leeds. You will work with the General Manager to drive operational excellence, resident satisfaction and team success.

You will support day-to-day operations, oversee services from move-in to move-out and help achieve financial targets while maintaining high safety and compliance standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ management experience within Build to Rent (BTR), PBSA, residential property, hotels or hospitality.
• Proven people leadership and team development experience.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Customer-first mindset with a genuine passion for service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support the overall performance, compliance and day-to-day operations of a large residential asset.
• Oversee resident services from move-in through to move-out and maintain service standards.
• Manage operational budgets and support delivery of financial targets.
• Lead, coach and develop the Resident Services Team and conduct regular reviews.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture.
• Promote compliance with UK residential regulations and health and safety requirements.
