Job summary

Canada Life UK is seeking a Financial Reporting and Change Manager to oversee ledger integrity and accounting architecture within a complex IFRS framework. You will lead governance for the general ledger, ensure postings reflect commercial activity, and drive improvements to data quality and reporting across finance systems.

The role requires senior accounting leadership, technical accounting depth (IFRS 17/9/15), and the ability to steer cross-functional teams through finance change initiatives

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with experience in financial accounting and technical accounting.
• Experience designing and operating accounting governance and control frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrity and governance of the general ledger structure and accounting architecture.
• Lead the operational implementation of accounting policy and reporting changes.
