Competitive starting salary range from £39,324 up to £44,710 (dependent on experience) with the potential to progress. A discretionary range for candidates with exceptional experience can be discussed/considered.

The Role

As a Lecturer (Teaching) in diagnostic radiography you will undertake teaching and course co-ordination while supporting the development and delivery of undergraduate, and professional programmes and other core activities ensuring students have an effective learning experience.

Based within the CUHCyou will work closely with other academic colleagues to enrich the student learning and teaching experience to ensure, asappropriate, relevant aspects of research, enterprise and professional context are embedded in modules and courses.

Duties include:

• Teach on modules and courses at HE levels 4-6 in relevant academic subject areas including curation, adaptation and creation of module teaching materials, delivering a variety of types of students learning sessions and supporting students asappropriate throughinformal and formal communication throughout teaching semesters
• Module leadership
• Prepare and deliver generic and specific formative and summative feedback.

Qualifications Required

• Currently registered with the Health and Care Professions Council as a diagnostic radiographer
• Master’s degree in an appropriate subject or Honours Degree with appropriate professional qualification and/or membership
• A teaching qualification or acceptance of the requirement to acquire one if not already held
• PhD or active membership of an appropriate professional body would be advantageous
