  • Lecturer, Grade 7: Starting at £37,099;
  • Senior Lecturer, Grade 8: Starting at £42,978 per annum

Initial teacher training (ITT) at Plymouth Marjon University has a considerable history, stretching back over 180 years.

Essential Criteria
  • Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Holds a Masters degree or has equivalent professional experience
  • Recent school experience teaching the national curriculum (England)
  • Specialism in secondary humanities
  • Track record of keeping up to date with evidence-informed practice
  • Experience supporting trainee teachers and/or early career teachers
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience contributing to the delivery of ITT secondary QTS provision
  • Experience of ITT curriculum and programme design
  • Doctorate or current enrolment in a doctoral degree program
