The University of Bedfordshire is inviting applications for two experienced Paramedic Practitioners into the role of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Paramedic Science, for a fixed term of two years. These two posts will support our expanding undergraduate provision and offer a valuable opportunity to contribute to academic development while maintaining strong connections with clinical practice. This is an exciting time to join our growing School, as we continue to work closely with education leads and practice partners across a wide range of stakeholder settings.

We are looking for a personable, hardworking, and inspiring colleague to join our teaching team. You will be:

  • A qualified Paramedic, registered with the HCPC.
  • Educated to Master's level (or with equivalent experience).
  • Experienced in working as a Paramedic in the UK, with teaching experience in Higher Education and/or practice education settings.

You will be a collaborative team player, committed to providing an excellent learning experience for our students. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive professional relationships with learners, colleagues, and external partners are essential.

These two posts present an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of our Paramedic Science courses, including both direct entry and apprenticeship routes. The successful candidates will work collaboratively with colleagues to design an innovative, future-focused curriculum that equips learners to meet the evolving challenges of contemporary Paramedic Science practice.
