A leading educational institution is seeking a dedicated part-time Physics lecturer to inspire students in A level, BTEC, and GCSE Physics. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Physics or a related field and have a strong teaching background. This role offers the opportunity for teacher training support and potential sponsorship.
36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Location: Uxbridge Campus
Salary: in the range of £32,455 - £45,260 per annum
Teacher Training Provided
The Sixth Form at Uxbridge College delivers A Level, AS, GCSE, and BTEC Science courses, based at the Uxbridge site. Our strong results place the Sixth Form in the top 10% of colleges nationally for A level progress.
We seek a knowledgeable and dedicated part-time Physics lecturer to teach A level, BTEC, and GCSE Physics.
You should possess a degree in Physics or a closely related subject (e.g., Engineering) and have teaching experience in the subject area up to A level, demonstrating excellent teaching and learning outcomes. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to engage and inspire students aged 16-19. If you do not already hold a teaching qualification, the College will support you in obtaining the Level 5 teaching qualification.
