Job summary

Oxford Brookes Business School seeks a Lecturer (Pathways Programmes) to teach across Foundation, Pre-Master’s and Pre-sessional courses, enhancing students’ academic skills and English proficiency. The role involves curriculum development, assessment and quality assurance within a diverse HE setting.

Experience in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and delivering subject content in business-related areas is preferred. Hybrid working is encouraged where possible; salary scales apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP).
• Experience delivering subject-specialist content within a Higher Education context.
• Experience teaching business-related subjects such as Economics or Law is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Teach across Foundation, Pre-Master’s and Pre-sessional programmes, developing students’ academic skills, English language proficiency and subject knowledge.
• Contribute to curriculum development, assessment and quality assurance activities.
