We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Lecturer of Sport to join a college in St Albans, starting as soon as possible.

The Role

As a Lecturer of Sport, you will:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Sport lessons across relevant courses and programmes
• Plan and prepare effective lessons that meet the needs of a diverse range of learners
• Support students to achieve strong academic and practical outcomes
• Provide guidance, feedback and assessment to students
• Contribute to the wider life of the college and department
• Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding and professionalism

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong knowledge and experience within Sport
• Has experience teaching or training learners in an educational setting
• Holds a relevant Sport qualification or degree
• Is passionate about developing young people and helping them achieve their potential
• Can build positive relationships with students and colleagues
• Is available to start ASAP
• Has, or is willing to obtain, the appropriate DBS clearance

Teaching qualifications and previous FE/college experience are highly desirable, although strong industry professionals with relevant teaching or training experience will also be considered.
