Inspire Learners in West Bromwich is seeking a Lecturer in Maths & ESOL to deliver engaging Maths and Functional Skills sessions while supporting ESOL learners to develop language and study skills.

This role is a 5-day week (Monday-Friday), 23 hours per week, on a rolling 1-month contract, with an inclusive learning environment and opportunities to create resources, track progress, and collaborate with colleagues to improve learner outcomes.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer in Maths & ESOL to join our clients growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who can deliver engaging Maths lessons while supporting ESOL learners to develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in education, employment, and everyday life.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, supporting learner achievement, and creating an inclusive learning environment where students from diverse backgrounds can thrive. You will work with learners across a range of levels, helping them develop both their mathematical understanding and English language skills.

Please note, this role will be on a 5 day working model (Monday-Friday), working 23 hours per week. The position will be on a rolling 1 month contract basis.

Essential Qualifications

Level 3 qualification or above in Maths, English, ESOL, Education, or a related subject.

GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above.

What We're Looking For

Ideally, applicants will have a 50/50 split of Maths and ESOL Experience, with confidence teaching Maths while understanding the challenges faced by learners developing their English language skills. We welcome applications from:

• Maths Lecturers with significant ESOL Experience.
• ESOL Lecturers with strong Maths or Functional Skills delivery Experience.
• Functional Skills teachers who have taught both areas.
