What We're Looking For:

Individuals with diverse backgrounds and professional experience, including those looking to transition into teaching.

Job Duties:
  • Deliver high-quality lectures and seminars in Business & Law subjects (Levels 2 and 3)
  • Develop course materials and assessments
  • Provide academic support and guidance to students
  • Conduct research in relevant areas
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
Required Qualifications:

A teaching qualification at Level 5 or a willingness to work towards one

A relevant qualification in Business or substantial industry experience

Experience:

Proven experience delivering high-quality teaching and learning in a post-16 environment

A track record of supporting students to achieve excellent academic outcomes

Experience as a personal tutor or in providing tutorial support (desirable)

Familiarity with a range of assessment methods tailored to varied learning needs

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Business & Law principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to engage students in the learning process
  • Research skills in relevant areas
Working Conditions:

This role involves working on a contract basis in an academic environment, delivering lectures and seminars, conducting research, and participating in departmental activities.
